9Commencement and short title
(1)This Act shall come into operation on the first day of January next after the passing thereof.
(2)This Act may he cited as the Improvement of Land Act 1899, and the principal Act and this Act may be cited together as the Improvement of Land Acts, 1864 and 1899.
