In all Cases where the Enrolment of any Deed or other Instrument, or Minute or Document, before the said Keeper of the Records, has been or shall be omitted or delayed beyond the Period provided for the Enrolment and Entry thereof respectively, it shall be lawful for the Council of His said Royal Highness, or others the Commissioners for managing the Affairs of the said Duchy for the Time being, for every reasonable Cause to them shown for the Omission or Delay, and they are hereby authorized and empowered, to permit the making of any such Enrolment or Entry nunc pro tunc; and the same respectively when made under such Authority shall be as valid and effectual as if made within the Period herein-before limited for that Purpose.
