If by any such operations as foresaid the company shall interrupt the supply of water or gas, they shall forfeit twenty pounds for every day that such supply shall be so interrupted; and such penalty shall be appropriated to F1that fund of the local authority or water board to which their revenues in respect of water are appropriated or, in the case of an interruption of a supply of gas, shall be paid to the Area Gas Board.
