The National Insurance (European Interim Agreement) Amendment Order 1965

Whereas by the National Insurance (European Interim Agreement) Order 19591, as amended 2, (hereinafter called “the principal Order”) made in pursuance of section 64 of the National Insurance Act 1946, it was ordered that the provisions of an Agreement and a Protocol (set out respectively in Schedules 1 and 2 to the principal Order) providing for reciprocity with the Governments specified in Schedule 3 to the principal Order should have effect in relation to matters specified in the said section, and that the enactments referred to in the principal Order should be modified accordingly:
And Whereas the said Agreement and Protocol have been ratified by the Government of Iceland on the 4th day of December 1964 and have come into operation as regards that Government on the 1st day of January 1965:
Now, therefore, Her Majesty, in pursuance of the said section 64 of the National Insurance Act 1946, and of all other powers enabling Her in that behalf, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—
Citation and interpretation1
This Order, which may be cited as the National Insurance (European Interim Agreement) Amendment Order 1965, shall be read as one with the principal Order.
Amendment of Schedule 3 to the principal Order2
At the end of Schedule 3 to the principal Order (which Schedule specifies the Governments by which the said Agreement and Protocol have been ratified or acceded to, as the case may be, and the respective dates of such ratification or accession and of the coming into operation of the said Agreement and Protocol as regards those Governments) there shall be added—
