45. The Justices of the Peace Act 1949 (Compensation) Regulations 1954(1), as amended(2), shall not apply to any person who suffers loss of office or employment or loss or diminution of emoluments after the coming into operation of these Regulations; and accordingly in Regulation 4 of the said Regulations of 1954 after the words “which loss or diminution emoluments” there shall be inserted the words “occurs before the coming into operation of the Justices of the Peace Act 1949 (Compensation) Regulations 1965 and”.
