1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Nuclear Installations (Gibraltar) Order 1970 and shall come into operation on 28th July 1970.
(2) The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply with the necessary adaptations for the purpose of interpreting this Order and otherwise in relation thereto as it applies for the purpose of interpreting, and in relation to, Acts of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
(3) In the Schedule to this Order any reference to a provision of the Nuclear Installations Act 1965 shall be construed as a reference to that provision as it has effect in Gibraltar under this Order.
2. Sections 10 to 17, inclusive, 21, 26 and 30 of the Nuclear Installations Act 1965, modified and adapted as in the Schedule hereto, shall extend to Gibraltar.
