DEPOSIT AND WITHDRAWAL

Deposits may be made in Northern Ireland in the joint names of a County Court Judge and a Clerk of the Crown and Peace.

Application to open an account shall be made in the approved form, and shall be signed by the Clerk of the Crown and Peace.

Any application to withdraw the deposits shall be signed by the Clerk of the Crown and Peace and (except where the withdrawal is authorised by the rules of the Court without the necessity for such an order) shall be accompanied by a certified copy of the order of the Court authorising the withdrawal.

Where any deposits made under this Regulation are transferred into the names of any other County Court Judge and Clerk of the Crown and Peace, that Clerk of the Crown and Peace shall make an application as provided in paragraph (2) above.

In this Regulation references to a County Court Judge include references to a Recorder.
