SCHEDULE 1 DIVISION OF NON-METROPOLITAN COUNTIES AND METROPOLITAN DISTRICTS INTO PETTY SESSIONAL DIVISIONS

PART III INTERPRETATION

For the purposes of this Schedule, the expression—

“division” means a petty sessional division which is in existence on the date of making of this Order; and

“new division” means a petty sessional division named in column (2) of Part I or Part II of this Schedule;

and any reference to an administrative county, county borough, borough, urban district, rural district or parish (except in the expression “new parish”) is a reference to that administrative area as it exists on the date of making of this Order.
