8.—(1) Sections 4 and 5 of the Act of 1968 shall apply for the purposes of determining whether a description, symbol, trade mark, name or other inscription referred to in these Regulations is applied to glass as those sections apply for the purpose of determining whether a trade description is applied to goods for the purposes of the Act of 1968.U.K.
(2) The following provisions of the Act of 1968 shall (with necessary modifications) apply in relation to an offence under these Regulations as they apply in relation to an offence under that Act (modified where appropriate in relation to Northern Ireland by section 40(1) of that Act), that is to say, sections 18, 19, 20, 23, 24 and 25.
[F1(3) Section 26 of the Act of 1968 shall (with necessary modifications) apply in relation to the enforcement of these Regulations as it applies in relation to the enforcement of that Act (modified where appropriate in relation to Northern Ireland as aforesaid).]
