The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 24(1) of the Sea Fish (Conservation) Act 1967, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—

1.  This Order may be cited as the Sea Fish (Conservation) (Manx Boats) Order 1973 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1973.

2.  Section 3 of the Sea Fish (Conservation) Act 1967 (which relates to the regulation of fishing nets and other fishing gear) shall apply in relation to British fishing boats registered in the Isle of Man as it applies in relation to British fishing boats registered in the United Kingdom.

3.  Section 5 of the Sea Fish (Conservation) Act 1967 (which confers power to restrict fishing for sea fish) shall apply in relation to British fishing boats registered in the Isle of Man as it applies in relation to British fishing boats registered in the United Kingdom.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order applies sections 3 and 5 of the Sea Fish (Conservation) Act 1967 to British fishing boats registered in the Isle of Man.
