The Reciprocal Enforcement of Foreign Judgments (Guernsey) Order 1973

At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 29th day of March 1973

Present,

The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Whereas Her Majesty is satisfied that in the event of the benefits conferred by Part I of the Foreign Judgments (Reciprocal Enforcement) Act 1933 being extended to judgments given in the superior courts of the Island of Guernsey substantial reciprocity of treatment will be ensured as respects the enforcement in the Island of Guernsey of judgments given in the superior courts of the United Kingdom:

Now, therefore, Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 1 of the Foreign Judgments (Reciprocal Enforcement) Act 1933 as extended by the Reciprocal Enforcement of Judgments (General Application to His Majesty's Dominions, etc.) Order 1933(1), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—
