The Local Government Act 1974 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1974 No. 335 (C. 8)

5.  The following provisions of the Act, namely—

(a) in Schedule 6, paragraph 15, and

(b) in Schedule 8, the entries relating to the Weights and Measures Act 1963,

shall come into operation on 1st October 1974.
