Regulation 4
1.—(1) In paragraph 2 of the Schedule to the principal Regulations—
(a)for the first entry in the table substitute the following entry:—

(2) Any increase of pension payable by virtue of this paragraph shall take effect from 26th July 1973.
2.—(1) In paragraph 3 of the Schedule to the principal Regulations—
(a)for the first entry in the table substitute the following entry:—

(b)for the last entry in the table substitute the following entry:—

(2) Any increase of pension payable by virtue of this paragraph shall take effect from 26th July 1973.
3.—(1) In paragraph 4 of the Schedule to the principal Regulations, for the first entry in the table substitute the following entry:—

4.—(1) In paragraph 5 of the Schedule to the principal Regulations—

(2) Any increase of pension payable by virtue of this paragraph shall take effect from 26th July 1973.
5.—(1) In paragraph 6 of the Schedule to the principal Regulations—
(a)for sub-paragraph (b) substitute the following sub-paragraphs:—
“(b)section 19 of the Courts Act 1971 (Circuit judges); or
(c)Part I of the Administration of Justice (Pensions) Act 1950(1) in respect of service of any person as a county court judge or a Circuit judge.”
(b)add at the end of the table the following entry:—

(2) Any increase of pension payable by virtue of this paragraph shall take effect from 1st April 1973.
6.—(1) In paragraph 9 of the Schedule to the principal Regulations, add at the end of the table the following entry:—

(2) Any increase of pension payable by virtue of this paragraph shall take effect from 1st April 1973.
7.—(1) In paragraph 10 of the Schedule to the principal Regulations, add at the end of the table the following entry:—

(2) Any increase of pension payable by virtue of this paragraph shall take effect from 1st April 1973.
8.—(1) After paragraph 13 of the Schedule to the principal Regulations insert the following paragraph:—
13A.—(a) the Superannuation Acts 1965 and 1967 (2), as applied by section 128 of the Supreme Court of Judicature (Consolidation) Act 1925(3), section 1 of the Supreme Court of Judicature (Circuit Officers) Act 1946(4) and section 2(4) of the Criminal Justice Administration Act 1962(5), to any person in respect of service in the office of Assistant Clerk of Assize; or
(b)Part I of the Administration of Justice (Pensions) Act 1950 in respect of service of any person in that office.

9.—(1) In paragraph 14 of the Schedule to the principal Regulations, add at the end of the table the following entry:—

10.—(1) In paragraph 15 of the Schedule to the principal Regulations, for the last entry in the table substitute the following entry:—

(2) Any increase of pension payable by virtue of this paragraph shall take effect from 1st April 1973.
