Coming into Operation
The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales, acting jointly, being Ministers designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Economic Community1, in exercise of the power conferred upon them by the said section 2(2) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following regulations:—
Citation, commencement and interpretation1

These regulations may be cited as the Agriculture Act 1967 (Amendment) Regulations 1976, and shall come into operation on 1st December 1976.

The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply to the interpretation of these regulations as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
Amendment of the Agriculture Act 19672

In section 27(1) for paragraph (d) thereof there shall be substituted—
or (d) where the grant is made in pursuance of provisions of a scheme implementing, or arising out of or related to, a Community obligation.

The paragraph (d) so substituted is in place of the paragraph (d) added by the Agriculture Act 1967 (Amendment) Regulations 19732.
