3.  The Pensions Increase (Federated Superannuation System for Universities) Regulations 1972(1), as amended(2), shall be further amended, in Regulation 2(1) in the definition of “relevant employment”:—

(a) in paragraph (c) thereof, by inserting after the words “Great Britain” the words “or Northern Ireland”;

(b) in paragraph (e) thereof, by deleting the date “1st July” and substituting “1st October”.
