2. The regulations specified in the Schedule hereto (which relate to the payment of compensation for planning decisions in relation to certain applications for mining operations and which apply with modifications the provisions of section 79 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1947(1) and sections 153 and 164(1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1971) are hereby revoked.

section 79 remains in force for the purposes of regulation 10 of the Town and Country Planning (Minerals) Regulations 1954.
