PART III CONSEQUENTIAL AMENDMENT OF REGULATIONS

Amendment of the Social Security Benefit (Persons Abroad) Regulations 1975

16.  In regulation 2(1) of the Social Security Benefit (Persons Abroad) Regulations 1975(1) (modification of the Act in relation to various benefits) for the shoulder note and the words in that regulation down to and including “non-contributory invalidity pension”, there shall be substituted the following shoulder note and words:—

“Modification of the Act in relation to sickness benefit, invalidity benefit, severe disablement allowance, unemployability supplement and maternity allowance

2.— (1) A person shall not be disqualified for receiving sickness benefit, invalidity benefit, severe disablement allowance”.
