Rounding to avoid fractional amounts28
Where any payment of statutory maternity pay is made for any week F1at the earnings-related rate referred to in section 166(1) of the Contributions and Benefits Act and the amount due for that week includes a fraction of a penny, the payment shall be rounded to the next whole number of pence.
