Service of notices etc20

Any notice or other document to be sent, served or given to any person for the purposes of the appeal may be delivered or may be sent by first class recorded delivery service or registered letter—

a

in the case of a document directed to the Tribunal, to the address set out in regulation 4;

b

in the case of a document directed to the appellant or his representative, to the address provided in the notice of appeal in accordance with regulation 5 or such other address as may subsequently be notified to the Tribunal and the Bank;

c

in the case of a document directed to the Bank, to the Head of Banking Supervision, Bank of England, Threadneedle Street, London EC2R 8AH;

d

in any other case, to the last known address of the person to whom the document is directed;

and documents falling within (b) or (d) above, if sent, served or given to the authorised representative of any person, shall be deemed to be sent, served or given to that person.

Any such notice or other document may be sent, served or given by telex or other similar means which produce a document containing the text of the communication.
