The route of the main new trunk road is a route about 12.0 kilometres in length starting at a point on the A6 Trunk Road, as proposed to be improved, about 450 metres south of its junction with Woodland Avenue, Barton Seagrave (marked “A” on the deposited plan), then going in a generally easterly direction passing to the south of Cranford St John, Twywell and Thrapston and ending at a point on the A604 Kettering-Huntingdon Road about 30 metres west of the junction between that road and Titchmarsh Road, east of Thrapston (marked “B” on the deposited plan), all in the County of Northamptonshire.
The routes of the slip roads are the following:
1. Four routes to connect the eastbound and westbound carriageways of the main new trunk road with the new A510 link road which the Secretary of State proposes to provide to link the main new trunk road with the A604 Kettering-Huntingdon road east of Cranford St John and which are given the reference numbers i, ii, iii and iv, respectively, in the deposited plan.
2. Four routes to connect the eastbound and westbound carriageways of the main new trunk road with the new Islip link road which the Secretary of State proposes to provide to link the main new trunk road with the A604 Kettering-Huntingdon road at Islip and which are given the reference numbers v, vi, vii and viii, respectively, in the deposited plan.
That length of the A604 of the A604 Kettering-Huntingdon Road at Thrapston in the County of Northamptonshire starting at a point about 30 metres west of its junction with Titchmarsh Road (marked “B” on the deposited plan), then going south eastwards for a distance of about 230 metres to a point marked “C” on the deposited plan.
