Coming into force

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 26 of the Police (Scotland) Act 19671, as read with section 1(2) of the Police Pensions Act 19612 and as extended by sections 12 and 15(5)(c) of the Superannuation Act 19723, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after submitting a draft of the following Regulations to and considering any representations made by the Joint Central Committee and such bodies and associations as are mentioned in section 26(9)(b) of the said Act of 1967, hereby makes the following Regulations:
