For the purposes of these Regulations a child or young person is to be treated as receiving relevant education if, and only if—
a
he is receiving full-time education not being advanced education for the purposes of section 2 of the Child Benefit Act 1975 F1 (meaning of child); or
b
although he is not receiving such full-time education he is treated as a child for the purposes of that section of that Act.
