11.  Any sum in respect of a course of study attended by a child or young person payable by virtue of regulations made under section 81 of the Education Act 1944 F1 (assistance by means of scholarships and otherwise), or by virtue of section 2 (1) of the Education Act 1962 F2 (awards for courses of further education) or section 49 of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980 F3 (power to assist persons to take advantage of educational facilities) [F4 or section 12(2)(c) of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992 (provision of financial assistance to students)].
