SCHEDULE 9 E+W+S SUMS TO BE DISREGARDED IN THE CALCULATION OF INCOME OTHER THAN EARNINGS

2.  Any payment in respect of any expenses incurred by a claimant who is— E+W+S

(a) engaged by a charitable or [F1 voluntary organisation]; or

(b) a volunteer,

if he otherwise derives no remuneration or profit from the employment and is not to be treated as possessing any earnings under regulation 42 (6) (notional income).
