These Regulations amend the Goods Vehicles (Authorisation of International Journeys) (Fees) Regulations 1983. The effect of the amendments is to reduce the fees prescribed by the Regulations for Community authorisations, E.C.M.T. licences, journey permits, road-rail certificates and special permits as defined in those Regulations.

The Secretary of State for Transport, with the consent of the Treasury in exercise of the powers conferred by section 56(1) and (2) of the Finance Act 19731, and now vested in him2, and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Regulations:
