The Islington (Prescribed Routes) (No. 4) Traffic Order 1985 (Variation) Order 1987

SCHEDULE

9.   No person shall cause any vehicle to enter the carriageway on the south-west side of the central island site in City Road situated at or adjacent to its junction with Wakley Street:

• Provided that nothing in this Article shall apply in relation to—

  (a)

  a public service vehicle being used in the provision of a London local service;

  (b)

  a public service vehicle being used in accordance with a time-table to carry passengers for hire or reward at separate fares other than one being used in the provision of a local service;

  (c)

  a school bus; or

  (d)

  a works bus.

• In this Article—

  • “London local service” and “local service” have the same meanings as in the Transport Act 1985((1))

  • “public service vehicle” has the same meaning as in the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981((2)).
