In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 33 of the Police Act 1964(1), and after satisfying the requirements of section 46(3) of that Act(2) and section 2(1) of the Police Negotiating Board Act 1980(3) as to the furnishing of drafts of the Regulations to the Police Advisory Board for England and Wales and to the Police Negotiating Board for the United Kingdom, and taking into consideration any representations or recommendations made by them respectively, I hereby make the following Regulations:—
Section 46(3), as amended by s.4(6) of the Police Act 1969 (c. 63), was amended by s.2(4) of the Police Negotiating Board Act 1980 (c. 10).
