This Order increases in Scotland certain monetary limits specified in section 21(2) and 41 of the Gaming Act 1968.
Article 2 increases the maximum amounts permitted—
(a)to be taken by way of the sale of chances; and
(b)as the aggregate amount or value of prizes, on any one determination of winners in gaming for prizes at licensed club premises under section 21 of the 1968 Act.
Article 3 increases the maximum limits specified in section 41 of the 1968 Act for the prizes, stakes and other matters mentioned in the Schedule to the Order.
