The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 9 of the Treasury Bills Act 1877((1)) and section 5 of the National Debt Act 1889((2)) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:

1877 c. 2; section 9 was amended by Part XII of Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Repeals) Act (c.12).

(2)

1889 c. 6; section 5 was amended by the Schedule to the Statute Law Revision Act 1908 (c. 49) and the Schedule to the Statute Law Revision Act 1966 (c. 5).
