This Order transfers an area within the county of Cheshire from the district of Vale Royal and parish of Delamere to the City of Chester and parish of Kelsall. Consequential changes to local government electoral areas are made.
The map forming part of this note (page 3) gives a general guide to the area affected. Prints of the detailed boundary map (described in article 2) may be inspected at all reasonable times at the offices of Chester City Council and Vale Royal District Council and at the office of the Secretary of State for the Environment, 2 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3EB.
The area transferred has approximately an area of 30 hectares, a population of 592 and a rateable value of £51,916.
The Local Government Area Changes Regulations 1976 (S.I. 1976/246, amended by S.I. 1978/247) contain general provisions regarding the effect of orders such as this one.
