Section 57 of the Act shall not apply to an investment advertisement which, before the day on which section 160 of the Act comes into force, is issued or caused to be issued by an industrial and provident society with respect to investments falling within paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 to the Act which it has issued or proposes to issue.
