Whereas Her Majesty is satisfied that, in respect of the classes of works to which this Order relates, provision has been made under the laws of Singapore and the territory of Taiwan and (in the case of sound recordings only) under the laws of Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand and Pakistan, giving adequate protection to the owners of copyright under Part I of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 19881:
Now, therefore, Her Majesty, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, and by virtue of the authority conferred upon Her by section 159 of the said Act, is pleased to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:–
