Whereas a draft of this Order has been laid before Parliament and has been approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with section 1(4) of the Hovercraft Act 1968(1):
Now, therefore, Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section1(1)(h) and (3) of the Hovercraft Act 1968(2), and of all other powers enabling Her in that behalf, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
Section 1(1)(h) was extended by paragraph 13 of Schedule 3, to the Merchant Shipping Act 1970 (c. 36), by section 31 of the Prevention of Oil Pollution Act 1971 (c. 60) and by section 48 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1979 (c. 39).
