4.—(1) In Appendix I, in section 4 for the words “A person is qualified to be elected a parochial representative of the laity to the deanery synod if” there shall be substituted – “Subject to the provisions of rule 9(1B), a person is qualified to be elected a parochial representative of the laity to the deanery synod if”.
(2) In Appendix I, in section 4 for the words “A person is qualified to be elected a parochial representative of the laity of the parochial church council if” there shall be substituted–
“Subject to the provisions of rule 9(1A), a person is qualified to be elected a parochial representative of the laity to the parochial church council if”.
