Removal of stationary vehicles

12.—(1) Where a traffic officer removes a vehicle referred to in regulation 11 above or, at the request of the person in charge of it, repairs, adjusts or refuels such a vehicle instead of removing it, the person in charge of the vehicle (if any) and the registered keeper shall jointly and severally be liable to pay to the crossing operator a charge of an amount calculated in accordance with the following table–

(2) The minimum charge, referred to in column (1) of the table in paragraph (1) above, is payable in respect of the first fifteen minutes of attendance or part thereof calculated from the time the crossing operator dispatches a break-down vehicle to the vehicle which is at rest.

(3) The additional charge, referred to in column (2) of the table in paragraph (1) above is payable in respect of each additional period of 10 minutes or part thereof after the first fifteen minutes of attendance.
