The Spirit Drinks Regulations 1990

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Secretary of State for Health and the Secretary of State for Wales, acting jointly, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 119 of the Food Act 19841 and now vested in them2 and, being Ministers designated3 for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19724 in relation to measures relating to the description of and other requirements relating to spirit drinks, acting jointly, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by the said section 2(2), and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:–
