These Regulations further amendthe Motor Vehicles (Tests) Regulations 1981 (“the principal Regulations”) as follows.
(a)The fee payable for the examination of a motor bicycle not having a sidecar attached to it is increased from £8.56 to £9.30.
(b)The fee payable for the examination of any other vehicle (not being a Class VI vehicle) is increased from £14.26 to £15.50. Class VI vehicles are public service vehicles other than those of a type specified in regulation 5(3) of the principal Regulations.
(c)The fee payable for the issue of a duplicate test certificate for vehicles (other than Class VI vehicles) is increased—
(i)from £4.28 to £4.65 in the case of a motor bicycle not having a sidecar attached to it; and
(ii)from £7.13 to £7.75 in any other case.
