Title and commencement1

This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 31st July 1990.

Interpretation2

In this Order the “principal Order” means the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 19782.

Amendment of principal Order3

At the end of Schedule 1 to the principal Order (which lists disinfectants approved by the Minister) there shall be added the entries listed in Schedule 1 to this Order.

The entries listed in Schedule 2 to this Order shall be deleted from Schedule 1 to the principal Order.

For Schedule 2 to the principal Order (which lists disinfectants subject to transitional provisions) there shall be substituted the provisions of Schedule 3 to this Order.

In article 6(2) of the principal Order (which specifies the date until which disinfectants subject to transitional provisions remain approved) for the words “30th June 1990” there shall be substituted the words “31st December 1990”.
