This Order revokes the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Copper or Other Metal Poisoning) (England) Order 1990 which contained emergency prohibitions in order to prevent human consumption of food which may have been rendered unsuitable for that purpose in consequence of animals consuming copper or some other metal.
