Part II of the table of consular fees in the Schedule annexed to the Consular Fees Order 19892 is amended as follows—

under Fee 22 delete subparagraphs 1(a) and 1(b) and replace them with the following words

(a)

Receiving an application outside the United Kingdom for

    an entry clearance for settlement or for marriage, a certificate of entitlement to the right of abode or a confirmation of the right of abode … 80.00

  1. i

    an entry clearance for other purposes … 60.00

unless

(b)

the applicant seeks entry clearance for employment or self-employment for a period of six months or less, or as a returning resident, visitor, student, passenger in transit, “au pair” or for a working holiday, in which case the fee is—

  1. i

    for one entry, where the applicant is under 25 years of age … 10.00

  1. i

    for one entry, where the applicant is 25 years of age or over … 20.00

  1. i

    for two entries … 30.00

  1. i

    for multiple entries, valid for two years from date of issue … 40.00

or

  1. i

    for multiple entries, valid for five years from date of issue … 85.00

or such sums (being the equivalent of fees charged by the authorities of any State for receiving or granting an application for an entry clearance to a British citizen) as the Secretary of State, with the consent of the Treasury, for an entry clearance from a national or citizen of that State.
