In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by paragraphs 14 and 20 of Schedule 2 to the Children and Young Persons Act 19331, as amended by section 17(1) of the Children and Young Persons Act 19632 read with section 12(1) of the Administration of Justice Act 19643, I hereby make the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Juvenile Courts (London) (Amendment) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 1st April 1990.

In this Order, “the 1975 Order” means the Juvenile Courts (London) Order 19754.

For Schedule 1 to the 1975 Order there shall be substituted the Schedule set out in the Schedule to this Order.

This Order amends the Juvenile Courts (London) Order 1975 as amended by the Juvenile Courts (London) (Amendment) Order 1984, which assigns divisions to juvenile courts for the Inner London boroughs and the City of London and specifies the places where such courts may sit. The effect of the Order is to provide a new address for juvenile court sittings which formerly took place at The Court House, 58B Bow Road, E3 4DJ and which served the Thames division and the City of London. The new courthouse is situated at 66 Bow Road, E3 4DH.
