The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of powers conferred by section 15(2) of the Disability Living Allowance and Disability Working Allowance Act 1991(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Disability Living Allowance and Disability Working Allowance Act 1991 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1991.
2. The day appointed for the coming into force of section 3 of the Disability Living Allowance and Disability Working Allowance Act 1991 (Disability Living Allowance Advisory Board)—
(a)for the purpose only of authorising the making of regulations expressed to come into force on 12th August 1991, is 3rd July 1991; and
(b)for all other purposes, is 12th August 1991.

This Order provides for the coming into force of section 3 of the Disability Living Allowance and Disability Working Allowance Act 1991 (c. 21), which relates to the Disability Living Allowance Advisory Board, on the following dates—
3rd July 1991 for the purpose only of authorising the making of Regulations; and
12th August 1991 for all other purposes.
