2.—(1) The Arbitration Act (Northern Ireland) 1937(1) shall, except insofar as it is inconsistent with paragraphs 3 to 18 below, apply to every arbitration in Northern Ireland as if that arbitration were pursuant to an arbitration agreement and as if paragraphs 3 to 17 below were contained in an arbitration agreement.
(2) In this paragraph “arbitration agreement” has the same meaning as in section 30 of the Arbitration Act (Northern Ireland) 1937.
