Citation, commencement and interpretation
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Regulations 1991 and shall come into force on 14th October 1991.
(2) In these Regulations—
“the Act” means the Births and Deaths Registration Act 1953(1); and
“the principal Regulations” means the Registration of Births and Deaths Regulations 1987(2) and unless the context otherwise requires any reference to a numbered regulation or Schedule is a reference to the regulation or Schedule bearing that number in the principal Regulations.
