In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 33 of the Police Act 1964(1), and after taking into consideration the recommendations made by the Police Negotiating Board for the United Kingdom and furnishing the said Board with a draft of the Regulations in accordance with section 2(1) of the Police Negotiating Board Act 1980(2), I hereby make the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Police (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1991 and shall come into force on 1st December 1991.
2. In regulation 64(2) of the Police Regulations 1987(3) there shall be inserted after the words “on or after” the words “1st December”.

These Regulations correct an omission in regulation 3(6) of the Police (Amendment) Regulations 1991 so as to provide that the reimbursement of certain medical charges incurred by a member of a police force shall take place, in accordance with regulation 64(2) of the Police Regulations 1987, where the member concerned first became a constable on or after 1st December 1991.
S.I. 1987/851; regulation 64 is substituted by regulation 3(6) of the Police (Amendment) Regulations 1991 (S.I. 1991/2484).
