PART VIIREVOCATIONS AND SAVINGS

Revocations and savings27

Subject to paragraph (2), the Local Government (Allowances) Regulations 1986,14 the Local Government (Allowances) (Amendment) Regulations 1987,15 the Local Government (Allowances) (Amendment) Regulations 198816 and the Local Government (Allowances) (Amendment) Regulations 198917 are revoked.

The Regulations mentioned in paragraph (1) shall continue to have effect without prejudice to section 16 of the Interpretation Act 197818, in relation to claims made for allowances or other payments in respect of duties performed before 1st April 1991.
