These Regulations amend the Motor Vehicles (Tests) Regulations 1981 (“the 1981 Regulations”) in relation to Class VI vehicles (Public Service Vehicles other than those of a type specified in regulation 5(3)) as follows.The fee payable for an examination under regulation 12 of the 1981 Regulations of a vehicle constructed or adapted to carry more than 12 passengers is increased from £38.00 to £40.60 and where the appointment for such an examination is, at the applicant’s request, on a Saturday, the supplement to the normal fee is increased from £24.50 to £26.00.The fee payable for a re-examination of such a vehicle within 14 days of the date of the issue of the notice of refusal of a test certificate, is increased from £18.75 to £20.00 and where the appointment for such a re-examination is, at the applicant’s request, on a Saturday, the supplement to the normal fee is increased from £12.25 to £13.00.The fee payable for a re-examination of such a vehicle later than 14 days from the issue of the notice of refusal is increased from £38.00 to £40.60 and where the appointment for such a re-examination is, at the applicant’s request, on a Saturday, the supplement to the normal fee is increased from £24.50 to £26.00.The fee payable for an examination under regulation 12 of the 1981 Regulations of a vehicle in any other case is increased from £26.50 to £28.30 and where the appointment for such an examination is, at the applicant’s request, on a Saturday, the supplement to the normal fee is increased from £18.00 to £19.10.The fee payable for a re-examination of such a vehicle within 14 days of the date of the issue of the notice of the refusal of a test certificate, is increased from £13.25 to £14.20 and where the appointment for such a re-examination is, at the applicant’s request, on a Saturday, the supplement to the normal fee is increased from £9.00 to £9.50.The fee payable for a re-examination of such a vehicle later than 14 days from the issue of the notice of refusal is increased from £26.50 to £28.30 and where the appointment for such a re-examination Is, at the applicant’s request, on a Saturday, the supplement to the normal fee is increased from £18.00 to £19.10.The fee payable for the issue of a duplicate test certificate is increased from £8.25 to £8.80.
