Amendment of the Artificial Insemination of Cattle (Animal Health) (Scotland) Regulations 1985
3. In regulation 2(1) (interpretation)—
(a)after the definition of “cow” there shall be inserted—
““the Directive”means Council Directive 88/407/EEC((1)) laying down the animal health requirements applicable to intra-Community trade in and imports of deep-frozen semen of domestic animals of the bovine species;”;
(b)after the definition of “the Minister” there shall be inserted—
““official veterinarian”means a veterinary inspector appointed by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food under the Animal Health Act 1981((2));”.
