The Secretary of State, being a Minister designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19721 in relation to matters relating to the harmonization of sound power level2 and sound pressure level3 requirements for equipment for cutting grass, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by that section and of all his other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Regulations:—
