This Order increases the annual fees for diocesan registrars fixed by the Legal Officers (Annual Fees) Order 1991 and sets the annual fees for the provincial registrars. It also removes from the categories of work covered by the diocesan registrar’s annual fee certain items of work (relating to appointment of sequestrators and resignation of incumbents) which have become unnecessary as a result of the Church of England (Miscellaneous Provisions) Measure 1992.
